Roadwork on I-84 and I-384

The Connecticut Department of Transportation will begin resurfacing I-84 and I-384 East and West in East Hartford and Manchester on or about May 4, 2020 until about October 30, 2020.

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 and I-384 East and West from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday, and from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

This schedule could change due to weather delays and other unforeseen conditions. 

Motorists are encouraged to remain alert and maintain a safe speed while traveling through the work zone. The work zone is as follows:

• I-84 East: Mile marker 64.46 until mile marker 67.56, approx. 0.04 miles
• I-84 West: Roberts Street until the westbound lane from I-291, approx. 0.09 miles
• I-384 East: Eastbound junction with I-84 until the eastbound HOV lane, approx. 0.05 miles
• I-384 West: I-84 westbound junction until the westbound exit ramp to I-291 eastbound, approx. 0.11 miles
