The Social Services Division will continue to offer remote services for most programs, including tax relief and renters rebate, state assistance programs (SNAP, HUSKY, TFA), energy and fuel assistance, emergency relocation and ADA ticket sales. Residents can also schedule an appointment to meet with a Social Services representative in-person by calling (860) 291-7248.


The Social Services Division strives to promote the well-being, self-sufficiency and quality of life among East Hartford residents by administering & developing programs and initiatives which provide individuals and families with the necessary support and opportunities to realize their fullest potential.
