What is the East Coast Greenway?

The East Coast Greenway (ECG) is a 2,900 mile section of trails stretching from Maine to Florida. In Connecticut there are 198 miles of trail system in the state, some of which is right here in East Hartford. What is the Connecticut River National Blueway?

The Connecicticut River National Blueway is the nation's first and only National Blueway, established in 2012 by the Department of the interior and encompassing the full 410 miles of the Connecticut River.
