Commission on Aging

The Commission on Aging is made up of seven (7) members.   Annually, either two or three members shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years. 

The Commission on Aging is charged with studying the needs and conditions of persons in the community, who are 60 years of age or older, in relation to housing, economic, employment, health, recreational and other matters.  It shall analyze the services for such persons provided by the community, both by public and private agencies, and shall make recommendations to the Mayor and Town Council regarding the development and integration of services provided by public and private agencies.
