EHPD's "No Shave November" Fundraiser

no shave november

The East Hartford Police Department is proud to announce that officers are participating in the “No-Shave November” fundraising event that will last throughout the month of November. Participants will put their razors aside for the month of November while also raising funds for the CT Cancer Foundation and Connecticut cancer patients in our state. One hundred percent of what we raise will be distributed to Connecticut cancer patients and their families to help with basic living expenses such as rent, mortgage, and utilities.

Starting on November 1, 2019, members of EHPD will volunteer to put their razors away for 30 days. During this time, friends, families, and members of our community can go online and make donations to support our EHPD team.

For over 30 years, the Connecticut Cancer Foundation (CCF) has been committed to reducing the burden of cancer for Connecticut cancer patients and their families both financially and emotionally. CCF is a non-profit organization that coordinates fundraisers, allowing people to have fun while also raising money for cancer patients. It is a great way for communities and agencies to come together for a special cause.
