East Hartford Police Launches Operation SAFE ROADS

East Hartford, CT - Members of the EHPD Traffic Division announce the commencement of Operation SAFE ROADS. The goal of this enhanced operation is to reduce traffic collisions by focusing enforcement efforts in high traffic areas.

More and more individuals are back out on our roadways. These are not just motorists, but cyclists and walkers too.

East Hartford Traffic Officers will proactively seek out aggressive driving, speeding, and red light violations using a variety of methods including the use of cruisers, spotters, and unmarked police vehicles.
