East Hartford Police Department Welcomes Officer Nicholas Sevetz to the Team

East Hartford, CT – The Town of East Hartford and the East Hartford Police Department welcome new police officer

East Hartford, CT - January 29, 2024 - The East Hartford Police Department is proud to announce the newest addition to its esteemed roster, Officer Nicholas Sevetz.

Officer Sevetz, a seasoned professional with a background as a former Police Officer for the City of New Haven, embodies the values of integrity, professionalism, and community engagement that are central to the mission of the East Hartford Police Department.

Mayor Connor Martin expressed how pleased he was to welcome Officer Sevetz to the East Hartford Police Department to serve our community and wished him the best of luck as he enters this new chapter of his career. “As a CALEA accredited law enforcement agency, East Hartford is proud to provide our new officers with the highest quality training that help them become valuable assets to our community,” said Mayor Connor Martin.

Chief Mack Hawkins welcomed Officer Sevetz to the department during a swearing-in ceremony held at the East Hartford Public Safety Complex. The ceremony, attended by fellow officers, family members, and distinguished guests, marked the beginning of Officer Sevetz's journey as a member of the East Hartford law enforcement community.
