East Hartford Transfer Station Open Additional Days This Week for Brush Only
East Hartford, CT — The East Hartford Transfer Station, located at 61 Ecology Drive, will be open for additional days on Thursday, August 6 and Saturday, August 8 (7:15 a.m.-12 p.m.; 12:30-2:45 p.m.) exclusively for disposal of brush. Please note, Friday, August 7th, the transfer station will remain open for regular operations.
For disposal of brush only, bulky waste permits have been waived this week; residents will be required to present an ID that proves their East Hartford residency.
Please note, public works crews will not be picking up brush curbside. All brush may be brought to the transfer station for disposal.
Next week, regular transfer station schedule will continue as normal: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (holidays excluded). The transfer station is closed on Wednesday and Thursdays.
