Parks and Recreation Programs, Events and Facility Rentals Cancelled Until Further Notice

The Department of Parks and Recreation is working to provide our residents with services remotely.  We are available by phone at 860-291-7160 during our temporary office hours which are Monday - Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.  We thank you for your patience as we work to transition our key services online. 

At this time, the East Hartford Parks and Recreation Department office and all rental facilities are closed to the public until further notice. This includes all field rentals and picnic pavilion rentals as well as:

  • Community Cultural Center
  • Veteran’s Memorial Clubhouse
  • North End Senior Center
  • Brewer House

All programs and events have been cancelled until further notice. 

Those who are registered for upcoming programs will be issued household credits if we are unable to resume programming this spring. Those who would prefer to withdraw now and receive a full refund instead of a household credit may call our office at (860) 291-7160.  Refund checks will be mailed to the household address on file and generally take 2-3 weeks for processing.
