Town of East Hartford's 2nd Annual Photo Contest

The Town of East Hartford is excited to offer an opportunity for amateur and professional photographers to demonstrate their skills!

We are hosting the second-annual photo contest and everyone is invited to enter their best images of the Town of East Hartford to be used in the annual report.

Issued each year, the Annual Report is a longstanding tradition in East Hartford as it celebrates our successes and new programs, and looks back at achievements of the past year. The report outlines the contributions that make our Town a vibrant and appealing place to live, work and thrive; and highlights the positive community engagement efforts that we focus on each year. 

Each year the report is accompanied by photographs that depict the beauty, uniqueness and community spirit of Town of East Hartford.

This year's theme of the contest is "MY East Hartford" and winning photos will illustrate what East Hartford means to YOU.

To participate, please submit a photo/s taken by you in the Town of East Hartford. Please include a clear and detailed description of a submitted image, name of the photographer, approximate date when the photo was taken and location.

The deadline to submit your photos is August 16, 2020 at 11:59 PM. 

All submitted photos may be used on our websites as well as in area-wide media such as social media, parks and recreation program brochure and the digital board.

I hereby affirm that all photographs are of my creation and do not infringe or violate any trademark, copyright or privacy rights of any third party. I represent and acknowledge that I have secured all required releases, consents and permissions from any individual appearing in the submitted photograph(s). I grant the Town of East Hartford the royalty-free, perpetual and world-wide license and right to use the photograph(s) without any restrictions or limitations for purposes that include, but are not limited to publishing, distribution and use for communications purposes, public relations, marketing and promotional materials such as publications, websites, social media, digital boards, and other media mow existing or in the future developed, to promote the Town of East Hartford. I understand the photograph(s) may be labelled, cropped, modified, reproduced, distributed, displayed or utilized to create derivative works therefrom, as necessary.
