Mayoral Proclamation Request

Proclamations are issued by the Mayor to recognize the importance of a community event, significant achievements by a community member, or to signal East Hartford's role in significant national events.  

Mayoral Proclamations typically have a specific connection to East Hartford, such as highlighting an event taking place in East Hartford or honoring an East Hartford resident.

Due to the volume of requests received and the time needed to prepare proclamations, all requests must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance and include all background information and other supporting materials necessary for the proclamation to be written.
