Town of East Hartford Photo Contest

The Town of East Hartford is excited to offer an opportunity for amateur and professional photographers to demonstrate their skills!
We are hosting a photo contest and everyone is invited to enter their best images of the Town of East Hartford to be used in the annual report.
Issued each year, the Annual Report is a longstanding tradition in East Hartford as it celebrates our successes and new programs, and looks back at achievements of the past year. The report outlines the contributions that make our Town a vibrant and appealing place to live, work and thrive; and highlights the positive community engagement efforts that we focus on each year.
Each year the report is accompanied by photographs that depict the beauty, uniqueness and community spirit of Town of East Hartford.
The theme of the contest is "East Hartford Through Your Lens," and winning photos will illustrate what makes East Hartford so special.
To participate, please submit a photo/s taken by you in the Town of East Hartford. The photo categories are:
- Town/historic buildings
Photos of any town building, including but not limited to the Town Hall, East Hartford Library, Community Center, Senior Center - Community Spirit
Community events, gatherings, town-sponsored programs, town-sponsored camps and events - Signs & Statues
Public signs that are unique to East Hartford, have East Hartford's logo, recognizable statues
Please include a clear and detailed description of a submitted image, name of the photographer, approximate date when the photo was taken and location.
The deadline to submit your photos is August 15, 2019 at 11:59 PM.
All submitted photos may be used on our websites as well as in area-wide media such as social media, parks and recreation program brochure and the digital board.

The most creative and unique photo will be featured on the cover of the annual report! You can view annual reports from the years past visit this link.
