The Russell Jamaican Restaurant Opens on Main Street

Hugh Russell has operated The Russell Restaurant in Hartford for 17 years, and now he brings his Jamaican cuisine to East Hartford at 1084 Main Street, at the corner of Wells Avenue. Located in the former Dunkin' Donuts location, the restaurant features selections including jerk chicken, oxtail, and beef patties among a wide variety of options. While primarily arranged for grab-and-go service, about 25 seats are available. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM and Friday through Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM.
