Bring Your Brush to the Transfer Station for FREE

East Hartford, CT - The East Hartford Transfer Station will accept brush and vegetation, resulted from Tropical Storm Elsa for FREE starting on Friday, July 16 through Friday, July 23. No bulky waste permit is required for bringing brush to the transfer station during this time period.
The transfer station schedule is as follows:
| Monday, Tuesday and Friday | 7:15 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. |
| Closed for Lunch | 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. |
| Reopen | 12:30 p.m. to 2:35 p.m. |
The Transfer Station is also open the first and third Saturday of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
