How can I have a tree cut down?

If the tree is on private property, contact a licensed professional and remove the tree. If the tree is on Town property the Town's Tree Warden should be contacted at (860) 291-7361 or MOrzolek@easthartfordct.gov. The tree will be assessed and if the Tree Warden determines the tree poses an elevated risk it will be posted for removal. If it is appropriate and there are no objections from the residents, the tree will be removed.
