The East Hartford Parks and Recreation is offering a Youth Tennis Instructional Program at East Hartford High School Tennis Courts.  Instructor John Bacon is returning to lead this popular program.

The NET GENERATION format is an exciting new instruction and play format for learning tennis. It is designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified games tailored to age and size of the player. This is a proven method to accelerate your child’s development and enjoyment of the game.  Participants may bring their own racquets, but we will have racquets available on site.  The program will consist of 8 classes, held on Mondays and Wednesdays, starting June 14th and ending July 19th with no program July 5th.  The program will have three sessions; children who have completed grades K - 2 will be held from 5:00 to 5:45 pm, children entering grades 3 to 5 will be held from 6:00 to 6:45 pm and children entering grades 6 to 8 will be held from 7:00 to 7:45 pm.  The program fee will be $24 and is limited to East Hartford residents with a maximum of 12 participants in each age group.

Registration is available online here.  For more information, call Parks and Recreation at 860-291-7160.
