Registration Now Available for Winter and Spring Swim Lessons
The East Hartford Parks and Recreation Winter/Spring 2020 Program Brochure is now available, and registration is open for our winter and spring sessions of group swim lessons. The brochure is available online at www.easthartfordct.gov, and copies will be available at the Parks and Recreation Office, Town Hall, Library and Senior Center.
We offer group, private and semi-private swim lessons for all ages, and the popular semi-private swim lesson program has been expanded to offer Saturday class options. Swim lessons do fill quickly, and the spring session of lessons will be the last opportunity for residents to have lessons before the summer, so it is recommended that those who are interested register early. Other aquatic program offerings include an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Course and a Water Safety Instructor (WSI) course.
Registration for the lifeguarding course as well as group and semi-private lessons is conveniently available online at any time of day at www.ehparks.org. There is no additional fee to register for programs online. Online registration for the Water Safety Instructor Course will begin February 10th, 2020.
