Parks and Recreation Summer Resource Fair - Thursday, May 23
East Hartford, CT— Residents are invited to attend the 2nd Annual Summer Resource Fair on Thursday, May 23, 2019, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the East Hartford Community Cultural Center.
This free event will showcase organizations and town services that provide summer activities and programs for youth and families. Some of the participating town departments include East Hartford Youth Services, East Hartford Public Library, East Hartford Health Department and more. Parks and Recreation staff will be on site with information regarding our summer camps and pools, and we will be able to answer questions and accept registration for summer programs on site.
While parents are gathering information, children will be able to participate in fun activities like face painting, inflatables and games. A raffle will be held at 6:30 p.m., and those present at the time of the raffle will have a chance to win prizes including free camp registration for the entire summer, Parks and Recreation gift certificates, and other prizes. The first 225 people who stop by the Youth Services table will receive a free ice cream cone, generously provided by East Hartford Youth Services.
