What kind of projects ARE NOT eligible for the Housing Rehabilitation Program?
- Rehabilitation of outbuildings (e.g., garages, sheds and barns);
- New construction, substantial reconstruction or expansion of a structure (unless required by Town of East Hartford Building Code);
- Replacement associated with intentional destruction and/or vandalism;
- Service to non-essential items as determined by the Grants Administration Office and Design Consultant;
- Routine and/or deferred maintenance; and
- Work which, in the opinion of the Design Consultant, is part of properly maintaining a home.
