The East Hartford Public Library is proud to host “your hand holding mine,” a new exhibit by local artist and EHPL Makerspace staff member Emma Chadwick. This exhibition, comprised of hand-developed and enlarged black-and-white 35mm photographs and woodblock prints, explores the delicate relationship between subject and photographer and examines the ideas of intimacy without exploitation and the innate vulnerability of women.
Chadwick will be available for conversation and discussion about her works at an Artist's Reception on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm in the Atrium area. To register for an event reminder, visit the library’s online events calendar or call the library at 860.290.4330.
