2026 Free Seed Library Announcement

The East Hartford Public Library is excited to announce the return of our Free Seed Library! Starting Tuesday, April 7th you can find seeds at both our Raymond Library and Wickham Library locations. We have a variety of seeds including vegetables, flowers and herbs. Seeds are first come, first served. We ask you to limit to 3 packets per person so we have enough to share with all of our community members. 

We want to see what you’ve grown! If you have success during the growing season we would love for you to share photos of your gardens. Tag us on Facebook or email your photos to sdicicco@easthartfordct.gov.

You can visit our seed library in the quiet reading area of the Raymond Library or at the Wickham Library. The Raymond Library is located at 840 Main Street, East Hartford. The Wickham Memorial Library is located at 656 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford.
