How do I get a library card?

East Hartford Residents of all ages may apply in person for an East Hartford Public Library card. Photo ID and current proof of residency in East Hartford must be shown in order to get a library card. Children 13 years old and younger must be accompanied by their caregivers when getting a library card. Lost cards are $5 to replace within the first three months, $1 three months up to one year, and after one year are free to replace.
