The East Hartford Public Library is open Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. 

Library Programs
November and December library programs are now open for registration on the library’s event calendar.
 
Program highlights include:

  • Virtual craft and Makerspace programs for all ages

Library programs are offered free of charge and are open to residents of all towns.
 
Library Services
The library is currently offering a full complement of services, including:
 
  • Full access to our collections, including the teen area (effective November 15)
  • Reference service in person and via e-mail (ehpl-reference@easthartfordct.gov)
  • Expanded access to public computers (effective November 15)
  • Copier/fax service
  • Study tables (max. 2 people per table)
  • Walk-up window access on the Central Avenue side of the building
Effective November 15, the library will no longer require appointments for use of public computers and study tables.
 
Please note that study rooms and meeting rooms are not available at this time. Instead, groups and organizations are encouraged to take advantage of the virtual meeting room service. Please visit this link for further details.
 
The Raymond Library is located at 840 Main St., East Hartford, CT. For updates to our current programs and services, check out our website: www.easthartfordct.gov/library. Please note that the library requires all patrons to wear masks at all times regardless of vaccination status.
