East Hartford Veteran's Commission to Participate in "Wreaths Across America"

The East Hartford Veterans’ Commission is honored to participate in the annual “Wreaths Across America” ceremony, organized by O’Connell Elementary School. The ceremony to remember and honor fallen veterans will take place on Saturday, December 14 at noon at Silver Lane Veterans Cemetery. The Veteran’s Commission will join O’Connell School students and staff as they place wreaths on veterans’ graves, thank them for their service and sacrifice, and reflect on their lives. O’Connell students and their leadership are dedicated to honoring our deceased veterans. Through their hard work they have been able to raise funds to purchase over 500 wreaths for placement. Please join them in honoring our veterans.
