Get Ready for College

It's never too early to get ready for college! East Hartford Public Library is hosting a series of programs this month to help students and families prepare for college. We've teamed up with C2 Education in Glastonbury to offer essay writing workshops, a testing event, and a presentation on the college and admissions process. Jomaira Rincon, Admissions Officer of Undergraduate Admissions at UCONN, will be here to talk about the college admissions process and to answer your questions. For students in grades 9-12. Please register.

COLLEGIATE TESTING EVENT
Saturday, October 19, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: Meeting Room 1
The East Hartford Public Library is partnering with C2 Education of Glastonbury to offer free full-length practice tests for the PSAT, ACT, and SAT for local high school students. Participants will get to experience a real testing environment and receive a score report that details your strengths and weaknesses. Please bring your own calculator - all other supplies will be provided. Registration is required and ends Wednesday, October 16th. Please register.

COLLEGE ESSAY WORKSHOP: PART II

This workshop led by C2 Education of Glastonbury will give you one on one attention from our trained essay team to make sure your essay is submission ready.
