Census Team to Present Job Opportunities for East Hartford Residents

East Hartford, CT— The Town of East Hartford and the U.S. Census Bureau invite you to join the 2020 Census team in East Hartford on Monday, October 7th from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the East Hartford Public Library to learn about available job opportunities with the U.S. Census Bureau. There will be a chance to apply for a job in person during the event. Temporary positions for the 2020 Census offer flexible hours, which is a perfect fit for working individuals.  The event is open to the public and registration is not required.

There will be more sessions coming up at the East Hartford Public Library on following dates:

  • October 21, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • November 4, 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM
  • November 18, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

The U.S. Census Bureau attempts to count every person in the United States once every decade and these valuable statistics have a direct and significant impact on federal funds allocated to municipalities. By working for the Census residents will play a significant role in helping East Hartford raise awareness about the importance of the Census and give back to the community.
