Flu and COVID Vaccination Clinic at the Last Farmers' Market of the Season!

East Hartford, CT – First Choice Health Centers will be at the Raymond Library for the last Farmers' Market of the season on October 24th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to offer flu and COVID vaccinations to East Hartford residents. The First Choice tent will be located on the Raymond Library lawn located at 840 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108.

This event is for all ages 12 and up. There is no cost to receive either vaccine. No appointment is needed to receive a vaccine. Residents are advised to bring their insurance and ID cards; however, no one will be turned away from getting a flu shot. 

Influenza (flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs. The best way to reduce the risk of flu and its potentially serious complications is by getting vaccinated against the flu each year. If residents have questions about flu or COVID shot recommendations, or this vaccination event, please contact the East Hartford Health Department at 860-291-7324 (option 1) to speak with a public health nurse.
