East Hartford Programs and Events are Canceled due to Inclement Weather

East Hartford, CT— Please be advised that due to impending thunderstorms, several town events are canceled or postponed Thursday, July 8th and Friday, July 9th.

The Sounds of Summer concert, scheduled for tonight, July 8th at 6 PM is canceled. The event will be rescheduled to a later date. The details regarding a new date will be announced, once finalized. The next concert is scheduled for Thursday, July 15, weather-dependent.

Additionally, swim lessons offered by the East Hartford Parks and Recreation Department are also canceled tonight, July 8th. We appreciate everyone’s understanding in the number of group and private lessons that have been canceled this session, and our staff will be in contact with participants regarding credits that will be issued for canceled swim lessons.

The East Hartford Farmers Market, slated to kick off on Friday, July 9th at 9 AM is canceled as well. The next Farmer’s Market is scheduled for Friday, July 16th, weather-dependent.
