Solar Eclipse Glasses Available at the Libraries beginning Monday, April 1

Solar Eclipse Glasses
Raymond and Wickham Libraries will be offering free solar eclipse glasses to residents beginning Monday, April 1 during library open hours.

The Raymond Library is open Mondays and Fridays from 9 AM - 5 PM, Tuesdays - Thursdays from 9 AM - 8 PM, Saturdays from 10 AM - 2 PM and Sundays from 1 - 5 PM. The Wickham Memorial Library is open Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays from 10 AM - 5 PM and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 1 - 8 PM.

Recipients must show proof of East Hartford residency and are limited to two pairs of glasses per person. People may call to see if we still have glasses on hand, but they may not reserve them over the phone (first come, first served).  Glasses will be distributed at the Raymond Library Children's desk or at the Wickham Library Circulation desk.

Everyone is invited to attend the community viewing on the lawns of both libraries on Monday, April 8, 2-5pm. Register for a reminder on the library's online calendar of events, or just drop by. A limited number of glasses will be available for the community viewing. In the event of inclement weather, join us for an indoor eclipse celebration at Raymond Library.
