Reading mentors available at the library!

Children’s Reading Partners and the East Hartford Public Library are pleased to be able to offer reading mentors for children in kindergarten through 6th grade this fall. All sessions will be conducted “virtually” on a one-to-one basis. Families may choose either Wednesdays, 5-5:30pm OR Thursdays, 5:50-6pm. Reading sessions are 30 minutes each week, beginning the week of November 15 and continuing through May 2022. There is no fee to participate in the program.

Please stop by the library to fill out the application or click here for an electronic copy that can be dropped off at the library or e-mailed to: cpotter@easthartfordct.gov. Applications must be signed and returned by Wednesday, November 10. 

Children’s Reading Partners is an initiative of the Jewish Community Relations Council, part of the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford.
