Attention, music lovers! Mark your calendars for the following September opportunities to enjoy concerts on the library lawn: 

Music at the Market, Fridays in September, 11 - 1
Bring your lunch or a cup of coffee and join us each Friday in September for Music at the Market. We’ll highlight local musical talent on our lawn with ample tables and chairs for you to stay awhile and listen! Music at the Market is made possible by funding support from the East Hartford Commission on Culture and Fine Arts. No registration required, just drop in.

Hartford Steel Symphony
Saturday, September 10, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Bring a picnic for a lunchtime show on the library lawn! Based in East Hartford, the Hartford Steel Symphony has been providing musical enjoyment to audiences since 1989, featuring soca, calypso, reggae, pop, classical, gospel and jazz tunes: all with an island rhythm. For all ages. Register for a reminder, and plan to bring chairs or a picnic blanket. The Hartford Steel Symphony performance is made possible by funding support from the East Hartford Commission on Culture and Fine Arts. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be moved indoors.
 
The Raymond Library is located at 840 Main St., East Hartford.
