JOIN US FOR: Wickham Library Grand Re-Opening Celebration

East Hartford, CT - The day we all have been waiting for is finally here! East Hartford Public Library invites all to celebrate the official grand-opening of the Wickham Library! The grand opening will take place Saturday, September 9, 2023, 11:30 AM to 1 PM on the lawn of Wickham Library (656 Burnside Avenue).

Wickham Library reopened to the public in May of 2023, following a renovation that added an elevator and ADA-accessible bathrooms.

On Saturday, September 9, we’re finally having a party to celebrate this major achievement.

Join us at 11:30 for a ceremony to be followed by a concert by the Hartford Steel Symphony. Bring a picnic lunch—we’ll supply a sweet treat to be enjoyed during the concert. In the event of rain, the celebration will be moved indoors.
