When is the Farmers Market?
The East Hartford Farmers Market is held weekly on Tuesdays at the Raymond Library (840 Main St., East Hartford) from 3:00 - 6:00 PM from July 11 to October 24, weather permitting.
 
What if it rains?
In the event of inclement weather, the market will be canceled. To find out the status of the market, check the library's events calendar or call the Raymond Library circulation desk during library open hours: 860.290.4330.
 
I'm driving to the market. Where do I park?
Please use the library's parking lot, accessed via Central Avenue. Please do not park on Central Avenue or in the neighboring Post Office parking lot.
 
What vendors do you have? 
In addition to our farmers, Handel Family Farms and Killam & Bassette, each week will include a food truck, a featured small business, non-profits and community groups, baked goods, and more! To check which vendors will be at the market on a given date, visit the library's events calendar.
 
What forms of payment are accepted at the market? 
Benefits: SNAP-eligible foods may be purchased with SNAP. Visit the SNAP table first to get tokens to spend at the market. In addition to SNAP, eligible foods may be purchased with WIC and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) benefits. All vendors accept cash. Killam & Bassette also accepts credit cards and Venmo. 
 
Who runs the market?
The East Hartford Farmers Market is run by the Town of East Hartford Health & Social Services Department with support from library and Parks & Recreation staff. It is a collaborative effort!
