Family Program: Pokemon Party
Monday, April 10, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Do you wish you were Ash Ketchum? Come play the Pokemon Trading Card game with friends, new and old! Do you play on the Switch? Bring yours to play with other trainers! There will be Pokemon crafts and other activities, too! Best suited for ages 5 and older. Registration required.
 
Family Program: Blackout Poetry
Tuesday, April 11, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Stop by and take markers to old books and find the poems hidden within the pages. For ages 8 and up. Register for a reminder or just drop in.
 
Tweens and Teens: Decorate a Backpack
Wednesday, April 12, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Join us to decorate string backpacks to hold your stuff! Design your own iron-on heat transfers, keychains, and pins to add flair to your bag. Please register. Best suited for ages 8 years and older.
 
Family LEGO Fest
Thursday, April 13, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Come have fun with LEGOs: make your own creation or build along with LEGO WeDo! Best suited for families with children ages 3 and up. Registration required. Please register children individually.
 
Makerspace Program: Metal Stamping
Thursday, April 13, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Join us to make a personalized necklace or charm for yourself or a loved one. Best suited for ages 8 and up. Register for a reminder, or just drop in.
 
Makerspace Program: DIY Jibbitz in Tinkercad (3D Printing)
Thursday, April 13, 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Come to the Makerspace and learn how to design 3D prints. Make your own custom Jibbitz for your Crocs that we will print and have available for you to pick up. For tweens, teens, and adults. Registration required.
 
Job Prep for Teens: April 10 - April 14

Are you between the ages of 14-21 years and looking for help finding a job? Join us for 5 workshops on building and writing a resume, finances, learning how to apply for a job, infant/child CPR certification, a job fair, and more. Workshops are sponsored in partnership with EH Works!, Liberty Bank, and the Town of East Hartford. Register for one or more workshops using this form

Monday, April 10: Cover Letter, Resume, and More!
10 AM - noon
Learn how to create a cover letter, resume, how to get working papers, fill out a W-4, and more. Presented by East Hartford Works!, East Hartford Public Library, Urban League, EH Human Resources.
 
Tuesday, April 11: Credit for Life Fair
10 AM - noon
Learn what life might look like in your future! How do you pay for everything? Learn how in this fun, app based game presented in partnership with Liberty Bank.  Be sure to bring a device so you can log on, create a profile and participate!
 
Wednesday, April 12: Red Cross Certification Class
9 AM - 3 PM (lunch will be provided)
Earn in-demand skills for camp counselors and to work in child care settings and leave with a Red Cross Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification. Limit 15 students.
 
Thursday, April 13: Job Fair
10 AM - noon
Learn about current and summer job opportunities from East Hartford Summer Youth Employment, East Hartford Parks & Recreation, Arbors Retirement serving positions, childcare at Silva's Youth of Today, LAZ parking and events, and more!
 
Friday, April 14: Digital Navigation
10 AM - noon
Learn how to use JobNow, make the best use of social media, and get helpful job search tips.
