For motor vehicle adjustments please email assessor@easthartfordct.gov with TWO of the following:

  • Bill of sale
  • Trade in Certificate
  • Junk Receipt
  • Plate Cancellation from DMV
  • Out of State Registration
  • Donation Letter
  • Total Loss Documentation from Insurance Company

 

For moving a Motor Vehicle to a new town in CT email assessor@easthartfordct.gov with the following:

All information below must show the October 1st date of the year you moved.

  • Property Record Card that shows date of purchase of new home
  • Deed
  • Utility bill i.e.; electric, cable, water or gas
  • Voter Registration Card in the new Town
