For motor vehicle adjustments please email assessor@easthartfordct.gov with TWO of the following:
- Bill of sale
- Trade in Certificate
- Junk Receipt
- Plate Cancellation from DMV
- Out of State Registration
- Donation Letter
- Total Loss Documentation from Insurance Company
For moving a Motor Vehicle to a new town in CT email assessor@easthartfordct.gov with the following:
All information below must show the October 1st date of the year you moved.
- Property Record Card that shows date of purchase of new home
- Deed
- Utility bill i.e.; electric, cable, water or gas
- Voter Registration Card in the new Town
