Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

  1. Branse & Willis, LLC, agents for Susan Kniep and David Weaver, are appealing the Zoning Enforcement Official’s signing of a liquor permit for 30 Olde Roberts Street. (Zone R-3)[Postponed from the January 29, 2015 meeting]                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
  2. Connecticut Signcraft, agent for Nardelli’s, 31 Main Street, Requests a variance from Sections 210 Signs, to permit an additional ground sign and increased square footage of signage on the building. (Zone B-1) [Continued from the January 29, 2015 meeting] 
  3. Joseph Esparo, agent for, 988 Burnside Avenue, Is appealing the decision of the Zoning Enforcement Official/Building Official to deny both a building and sign permit for the rebuilding of a nonconforming billboard, a violation of Section 210.6(a) of the Zoning Regulations and Section 3-30(b) of the Code of Ordinances.
