THRIVE is a group for youth 13-17 years of age.
It meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The last group is on Thursday, June 27th.

The Town of East Hartford Youth Services Program (as defined below, “Program”) involves a variety of physical activities and there is an element of risk involved, which each participant must assume (including injury, disability or death). I affirm that my child’s health is adequate and not under a physician’s care for any undisclosed condition that bears upon my child’s fitness to participate in the Program. The undersigned hereby agrees: 1. I fully assume all risks associated with utilization of and participation in the program, and agree not to sue and hereby release the Town of East Hartford, its agents, servants, employees, volunteers, elected officials, boards and commissions (collectively “The Town) , from all liability should an injury to me or my child occur during participation in the program. 2. I, for myself and for my heirs, executors, administrators, and legal representatives agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Town, from any and all claims, suits or demands by anyone arising from my use of or participation in the program. 3. If I am a parent or guardian signing on behalf of a child or ward, I make these representations and agreements on behalf of my child or ward. 4. I give permission to the Youth Services Department to use any photo and/or video taken during participation for promotional materials.
This Youth Program Participation Agreement (the "Agreement") concerning the Sobriety and Safety of participants is agreed to by all participants for the entirety of their participation in the Program. The purpose of this Agreement is to outline the expectations and responsibilities of Participants, specifically regarding the use of substances. Participants agree to commit to sobriety and agree not to the Program, or any associated activities, events, or gatherings under the influence of illegal substances, alcohol, or any other mind-altering substances that may impair judgment or pose a risk to themselves or others. Participant acknowledges that the Program has established rules and guidelines governing conduct and behavior during their participation in the program and associated events. Participant agrees to always comply with these rules and guidelines, including the commitment to sobriety specified in this Agreement. Participant recognizes that coming to the Program and its associated activities under the influence can jeopardize their safety, the safety of other participants, and the overall well-being of the program. Participants agree to prioritize the safety and well-being of themselves and others by refraining from substance use during the program. Participant understands that any information shared with the Program regarding substance use will remain confidential. YTP will respect the Participants' privacy and will not disclose this information without the Participant's written consent unless required by law. If a Participant fails to adhere to this Agreement, the Program reserves the right to take appropriate action. Action may include but is not limited to, suspension, termination, or other disciplinary measures deemed necessary by the Program to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants. This Agreement will remain in effect for the duration of the Participant's participation in the Program unless terminated earlier by mutual agreement or due to a Participant's non-compliance with the terms outlined herein. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Program and a Participant concerning its subject matter and supersedes any prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether oral or written. Please review the terms of this Agreement carefully. Your signature below indicates your acceptance and understanding of the commitments outlined herein.
