Winter 2024 EHYS Groups and Programs

East Hartford, CT— The East Hartford Youth Services Department continues to offer virtual and in-person counseling and programming. The department’s professional staff and interns offer confidential counseling to youth and their families in a wide variety of areas: individual and family counseling, youth counseling, relationship counseling, parenting skills, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, anger/behavior management, stress management, and coping skills, social-emotional skill-building, self-confidence/self-esteem/resilience building, and goal-setting/achievement by appointment only.   Saturday Squad:  Achieving Your Best Self! (In-Person Group) with Carlos, Zach, and Jon 
  Youth 8 - 13 years of age
  Saturdays from 11:00 AM - 12:15 PM  
  January 20, 2024 - April 27, 2024 
  *no group on 4/13* 
  Saturday Squad is a positive youth development program for ages 8-13. We will explore themes of self-acceptance, self-expression and boundaries, collaboration with others, and personal growth. Youth participants can expect experiential ("hands-on") learning activities, reflection, sharing, and team-building activities.  
  Bilingual (Spanish and English) youth are welcome and some facilitators are bilingual.
