Family Fun Nights!!
Join EHYS for Summer Family Fun
EHYS invites East Hartford families to join us for one or all of our Summer Family Fun events. These are all in-person and outside at our 50 Chapman Place office. We will have a large tent to provide shade from the sun and any small rain showers. These events are meant for the whole family and are not drop-off events for youth. Please plan for at least one adult to attend with the youth (no matter their age).
As our community keeps adjusting to this new Covid world, join us to reconnect, have fun and enjoy all the joys summer brings!
Registration guarantees dinner, activity, and an entry into that night's raffle. Families can stop by without registration but we can't guarantee enough supplies. Please register, spread the word, and join us!

Tie-Dye and Drum Circle
Wednesday, June 15th
5:00 – 7:00 PM
Tie-dye t-shirts and join a community drum circle.
Dinner: Subway Gift Cards to the first 5 families that register and attend ($40 value).
Stations will be set up so each family member can tie-dye a t-shirt. Directions and all the materials needed will be supplied. Adults will need to help kids, especially younger ones. Some additional staff assistance will be available.
Then to wrap up a great evening together a professional percussionist will lead a community drum circle.

Creative Crafting

Join in the crafting fun! A variety of crafts will guarantee every family member finds at least one thing they're excited about!
Each craft will have all the supplies needed, and directions, but we encourage you to make it your own!!! There's no wrong way to craft. :)

What's better than a night outside playing yard games and having a family BBQ? Join us for a variety of different yard games for all ages!!

All the yard games will be raffled off at the end of the night so you can take a piece of the fun home with you.
