East Hartford, CT - The East Hartford Youth and Social Services Department in collaboration with Sisterhood CT is running a teen group on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  All groups are held at the Community Cultural Center, 50 Chapman Place, in the Youth Services department.

THRIVE is a dynamic youth empowerment program designed for youth 13-17 years of age. The program aims to create a safe and inclusive
environment for young people to come together, build connections, and learn important life skills and coping mechanisms needed to succeed in today's world.

THRIVE's curriculum is designed to teach youth essential life skills such as stress management, financial literacy, violence prevention, and setting healthy boundaries. By providing young people with the right tools to deal with stress and build resilience, we can help them overcome obstacles and challenges that come their way. Through
discussion, workshops, and hands-on activities, the program helps youth build communication and leadership skills needed to speak up, advocate for themselves, and
make a positive difference in their own lives and their communities. Our goal is to empower our youth to take charge of their future. By providing them with the
resources they need to thrive, we aim to create a brighter and more resilient future for our community.
