2021 Curbside Leaf Collection Program Has Been Completed

East Hartford, CT— East Hartford Public Works has completed its annual leaf collection program, including the initial and second pass through all neighborhoods.

Residents who still have leaves on their property should bag them in paper bags and leave on the curb for pickup on their waste collection day. Bagging leaves will keep your property clear in case of excessive rain or snow.

Residents can also bring their leaves to the Transfer Station at 1 Ecology Drive. Bulky waste permits are not required for residents entering the Transfer Station with leaves only. Normal Transfer Station hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 7:15 A.M. to Noon and 12:30 to 2:45 P.M. and on the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 A.M. to 1:45 P.M. Leaves in plastic bags will not be accepted.
