Additional Requirements; Attendance Records, Swearing in,Resignations

Additional reminders;

  1. Secretary or Chairperson will be responsible for submitting the attendance of their members by December 1st of each year along with an updated contact list of all members. Click Here for template
  2. All Commission, Board or Agency members must be sworn in at the Town Clerk’s Office before acting on behalf of the commission.
  3. Whenever a vacancy occurs, the original letter of resignation must be filed with the Town Clerk’s Office.
    *Please note that a member will continue to serve even when their term has expired until they choose to resign or a replacement is found. A term expiration does not mean that the member has resigned or can no longer serve*
  4. When scheduling meetings that requires the use of a meeting room in Town Hall please reserve the meeting rooms with the Mayor’s office, EHMayorsOffice@easthartfordct.gov or call 291-7200. BEFORE setting and submitting your annual schedule by January 31st of each new year.
