Energy / Fuel Assistance Program
Energy Assistance

The Town of East Hartford is advising residents the COVID-19 moratorium on utility service disconnections for non-payment ended Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Eversource will resume some collection activities such as disconnect notifications and disconnections of service for non-payment for these customers. However, the goal is to work with customers to resolve overdue balances and avoid a disconnect. If you’re finding it difficult to keep up with your electric or gas bills, Eversource has protections, programs, and payment plans to help you. Visit Eversource.com/BillHelp to learn about their programs and available assistance.
