Town of East Hartford Offices Closed for Christmas Day

All town offices, including the East Hartford Transfer Station, will be closed on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in observance of Christmas Day. All town offices, including the Transfer Station, will reopen on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 for regularly scheduled hours of operation.

Curbside trash pickup and recycling will be delayed by one day starting on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 and through Saturday January 5, 2019 due to the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. The Transfer Station and Administrative Office will also be closed on December 25, 2018 and January 1, 2019.

The normal transfer station schedule is as follows: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 7:15 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. (holidays excluded), and the first and third Saturdays of the month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. (holidays excluded).
