GOVERNOR STREET CLOSURE: DETOUR INFORMATION
Effective 7/22/2026, Governor Street will be closed at the I-84 ramp(s)

Left turns from the off ramp onto WESTBOUND Governor Street, and left turns from WESTBOUND Governor Street onto the on ramp will be prohibited.
For anyone traveling WESTBOUND on Governor Street from the off ramp, turn right onto Governor Street, right again on Prospect Street, right onto Connecticut Boulevard, right onto Thomas Street.
If you are approaching the intersection from the East and need to get onto the on ramp, follow Prospect Street to Connecticut Boulevard, to Thomas Street, then turn right onto Governor Street, and right again onto the on ramp.
The detour will remain in effect until 8/21/2026, unless otherwise noted.
