East Hartford Senior Transportation - Free Dial-a-Ride program

Did you know that the East Hartford Senior Center has a partnership with Hockanum Valley Community Council to provide FREE transportation to our East Hartford Seniors? This service is open to East Hartford residents who are at least 60 years of age. Residents can ride free Monday through Friday 8:30am (first pickup) to 4:00pm (last return). Transportation is available to and from the Senior Center, in addtion to the following locations; Doctor’s appointments in East Hartford, Glastonbury and Manchester, work, banks, post office, pharmacies, and grocery stores.

To reserve your ride simply call East Hartford Dial-a-Ride at (860) 870-7940 to register over the phone and set up your transportation.  Please note, at this time due to COVID, bus capacity is limited to six (6) passengers for any given trip. We appreciate your patience as we work to keep passengers and drivers safe.
