ALERT: Post Malone and Jelly Roll at Rentschler Field
Thousands of concertgoers are expected to attend the Post Malone & Jelly Roll concert at Rentschler Field on Monday, June 22 at 7:30 p.m., which will result in increased traffic throughout East Hartford before and after the event.
The concert start time is 7:00 p.m., but doors open at 5:30 p.m.
TRAFFIC:
Heavy traffic is expected to begin approximately two hours prior to showtime. Residents should expect delays and traffic congestion before and after the concert in the following areas:
- Silver Lane
- Roberts Street
- Simmons Road
- I-84 east and west.
The East Hartford Police Department encourages drivers to allow extra travel time when traveling to and from the venue area.
1. Please follow all posted traffic signs and directions provided by the East Hartford Police Department and event staff.
2. Consider carpooling or ride share services to help reduce traffic congestion. Ride share will have a designated drop off and pick up.
4. Be alert for increased pedestrian activity in and around the venue.
5. Drivers are reminded to exercise patience, remain attentive and use caution while traveling through the area.

AMPLIFIED SOUND:
To alleviate the community's concerns regarding amplified music, the stage has been moved so that the sound carries west across the RTX campus and towards the river, rather than into the neighborhoods East Hartford and Manchester.

The event is expected to draw a large crowd and the East Hartford Police Department will be onsite to assist with traffic flow and help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
