The East Hartford Farmers' Market is a CT Certified Farmers' Market and occurs weekly on Tuesdays from July 7, 2026 - October 27, 2026 (except August 4, 2026 when the Market is canceled to allow residents to enjoy National Night Out). Our farmers, Killam & Bassette and Handel Family Farm, will be there every week to offer fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs, eggs, jams, and honey. Other food vendors, baked good vendors, craft vendors, and non-profits rotate throughout the season to offer a variety for market customers.
As a CT Certified Farmers' Market, vendors selling eligible products will be able to accept Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program and WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program benefits. Additionally, the East Hartford Farmers' Market accepts SNAP payment with any vendor selling SNAP eligible products. Residents enrolled in SNAP will be able to double their benefits to purchase fresh produce through the End Hunger CT! SNAP Match program.
