The East Hartford Parks and Recreation division prides itself on offering a diverse range of recreation and leisure services. The Town offers extensive programming opportunities throughout the year to provide residents with safe and affordable activities as well as special events. Your donation will help provide opportunities to residents in need, enabling them to participate in the programs offered.

Our donation program is supported by contributions from individuals, businesses, and community groups. Donations are tax deductible: to the extent permitted by law. Any donation amount is acceptable. The following programs are supported by donations:

1. Summer Camp Program: Your donation helps support East Hartford youth attend summer camp program. Any monetary donation helps, a week of summer camp is $100.

2. Learn to Swim Program: Your donation helps support East Hartford youth take swimming lessons. Any monetary donation helps, a Learn to Swim session is $50.

3. Youth Basketball Program: $75 donation covers an East Hartford youth one season registration for Youth Basketball

4. Youth Summer Tennis: Your donation helps support East Hartford youth participate in the Summer Youth Tennis League. Any monetary donation helps, Summer Youth Tennis season is $40.

5. Richie Beaulieu Scholarship: Your donation will allow us to give a $1000 scholarship to an East Hartford student that has or is working for Parks and Recreation, played sport in town, and plans on or is attending a 2 to 4-year college is award in the name of Richie Beaulieu

6. Special Olympics Program: Your donation will help our Special Olympics Athletes participant in a variety of sports and tournaments

7. Sounds of Summer: your sponsorship or donation affords our department to opportunity to provides some of the best local bands to perform to the residents of East Hartford each summer; $5,000 Head Liner Sponsor, $2,500 Sole Sponsorship, $1,000 Platinum Sponsorship, $ 500 Gold Sponsorship, $ 250 Silver Sponsorship, $ 150 Special Friend, $ 100 Patron

8. Memorial Day Parade: Your sponsorship or donation affords the Town of East Hartford the opportunity to honor our fallen veterans

9. Juneteenth: Your sponsorship or donation affords the Town of East Hartford to celebrate what is officially known as Juneteenth National Independence Day with our exciting annual event on the Town Green that includes music, fun youth activities, and food trucks for the community.

10. Latin Festival: Your sponsorship or donation affords The Town of East Hartford to celebrate our Hispanic Community and embrace our uniqueness and enrichment great music and fun everyone.

11. Fall Fest: Your sponsorship or donation assist the Parks and Recreation to host one the largest events for the community which features vendors, crafters, entertainment, carnival games, inflatables, pumpkin decorating, scarecrow decorating and many other family oriented activities.
