2024 NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE ACT

PROGRAM AVAILABILITY

TOWN OF EAST HARTFORD

The Town of East Hartford will participate in the 2024 State of Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act Program. This program provides State tax credits to business firms who contribute to tax exempt or municipal agencies that conduct community programs such as job training or job education for persons aged 50 or over or are disabled; programs serving low income persons; energy conservation; or child care services.

Tax exempt or municipal agencies who offer these programs may access application Form NAA-01 at the Department of Revenue Services programs website at www.ct.gov/DRS, on the Grants Administration page of the Town of East Hartford website at www.easthartfordct.gov/grants-administration or by contacting: Paul O’Sullivan, Grants Administration Office, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108 (860) 291-7206.   The due date for return of application is Noon, on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 to the Grants Administration Office.  Applications will be received in electronic format only.  Please send your application to posullivan@easthartfordct.gov. All submitted applications will be posted on the above-mentioned website for public review.

The required public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in Meeting Room 1 of the Raymond Library, 840 Main Street, East Hartford, CT.   Please remember that attendance at the public hearing is NOT REQUIRED.
